2015 Green Leaf Plants (Lancaster, Penn.) Field Trials Results

Green Leaf Plants devotes a 1-acre trial garden in Zone 6 to trialing new varieties and for making commercial comparisons to expand the company’s perennial liner program. This year the gardens experienced a very cold winter with not much snowfall. Spring was late and cold, and the summer had adequate rainfall. Challenges this year were Japanese beetles, which seemed to have increased in numbers over previous years.
