Eason Horticultural Resources Releases New Perennials Guide And Spring Trials Report

Eason 2017 Perennials GuideEason Horticultural Resources (EHR), a Kentucky-based national horticulture broker for greenhouse growers and nurseries, recently released two new reports that offer details on upcoming variety introductions.

The first report, ‘Hot New Perennials for 2017,’ was compiled from information provided by a broad cross section of breeding companies, perennial producers, and perennial enthusiasts. This year’s edition will introduce readers to new perennials that could become best-sellers and industry standards. This year’s publication is the 8th annual edition of the ‘Hot New Perennials’ booklet.

Eason has also released its 2016 California Spring Trials Report, “one of the most comprehensive, descriptive guides of the introductions shown this year,” according to the company. Compiled by members of the Eason office team with the input from the people who attended the trials, this year’s edition features genetics from 21 different breeding companies and information gathered from the 17 different stops on the tour. Eason has been producing an annual Spring Trials Report for more than a dozen years, and according to the company, it “has become a must-have for the independent grower because of its independent opinions and not being aligned with any specific genetics.”

Digital versions of each of these reports are available at the Eason website. Anyone that would like to receive a printed version of the report can send an email to [email protected].
