Grower of the Year
For more than 25 years, Greenhouse Grower has recognized one innovative, quality-oriented operation as its Grower of the Year. In 2009, the award was elevated by presenting it as part of Greenhouse Grower’s Evening of Excellence at OFA.

Then, in 2010, we expanded the program with the inaugural Head Grower of the Year Award program, which recognizes excellence among this most critical position in the industry, the head grower.

Medal of Excellence
New plants lie at the foundation of the greenhouse industry, and the growers are continually clamoring for new, improved and innovative varieties. Greenhouse Grower’s Medal of Excellence program recognizes the efforts and excellence among breeders by spotlighting the most outstanding new variety introductions, which includes input from a panel of industry experts, our editorial staff and opening voting among the industry. The program culminates in a special report published as part of our July issue as well as one of the industry’s must-see events, Greenhouse Grower’s Evening of Excellence, held at OFA every year.
