All three are companies deeply vested in the independent garden center channel with propagation expertise, as well as finished production focused on the independent grower, according to a release from Hort Couture.

“Hort Couture will have a more regional approach to liner production and logistics moving forward with three companies that are important to the IGC channel. All three understand the marketplace well and bring unique strengths to the program.” says Jim Monroe, Hort Couture.

The brand has also partnered with three brokerage companies to manage the sales of Hort Couture moving forward:

The branded container requirement for the program has been discontinued, unrooted cuttings are available on most varieties, and Hort Couture will be exhibiting at both California Spring Trials and Cultivate’18, Monroe says.

“We have so many exciting new plants in the pipeline, especially in our Culinary Couture offerings,” he says. “This new alliance will give the independent garden center channel many exciting new products to differentiate their companies from the big box growers and retailers in the future.”
