Trial Manager Notes

We did not try any new methods this year, but a there were a couple of outstanding varieties. The two listed as Best in Show, Begonia ‘Vermillion Red’ and Celosia ‘Intenz Classic,’ both had great habits and vigor and flowered all summer. They were unfazed by whatever conditions mother nature threw their way. In addition to all of this, what really made them stand out was the vivid flower coloration and heavy flowering.
