The National Garden Bureau (NGB) will once again be hosting five garden communicators traveling to California for the 2016 Spring Trials.

Last year, for the first time, NGB arranged for prominent garden bloggers/writers to make the journey to California for Spring Trials in order to introduce them to the origination point of many of their favorite plants.

According to NGB, garden writers are very important to the industry as they are key communicators with the gardening public. Following last year’s success, another five popular bloggers will meet the many breeding companies that participate in the CA Spring Trials, then blog about the event and the varieties they see.

Here’s a list of the garden communicators attending the 2016 Spring Trials and the topic they will be blogging about:
• Amy Andrychowicz, Minnesota: “Get Busy Gardening”
• Kylee Baumlee, Ohio: “Our Little Acre”
• Melinda Myers, Wisconsin: “Melinda Myers Growing Among Friends”
• Jenny Peterson, Texas: “J Peterson Garden Design”
• Christina Salwitz, Washington: “Personal Garden Coach”
