'Chocolate Fountain' albizia has attractive foliage, a pendulous, weeping habit and ethereal pink flowers that form in the summer. It is a good disease- and insect-resistant plant for the landscape.

'Blacknight' has deep, black-purple single flowers that are produced on tall, sturdy stalks in midsummer. It is part of the Spotlight series.

‘Red October’ was selected for its fine, thin foliage and sizzling autumn color show. It boasts red stems and flowers and has dark-green foliage that deepens to purple in late summer. Cool nights in August can add to the interest, turning foliage tips red. After a frost, this new native turns almost entirely a brilliant scarlet for late-season color in the fall. It’s hardy in Zones 3 to 8.

'Ballerina Red'  is a compact, uniform plant with cushion-shaped, grassy foliage and long, strong stems topped with globe-shaped blooms. It is low maintenance, salt tolerant and suitable for 4-inch pot production.

The showy foliage of barberry 'Toscana' emerges red in spring with a fine, bright-yellow margin. The margin eventually fades through summer, but the foliage remains red. The red color darkens in autumn, taking on burgundy tones.

Million Bells calibrachoa are all mounding in habit, continuous blooming and well-branching, as well as self cleaning and impervious to heat.

'Avant Garde' has an unusual, 3-inch red flower with pink petaloid stamens, which gives the impression of a double flower and protruding trumpet. It is free flowering and blooms from July to September.

'Westerplatte' has rich, velvety-red flowers with dark-red anthers. Flowers are 4- to 5-inches. Blooms appear in late June to early autumn. Suitable for container culture.

'Colorblaze Marooned' has solid, deep-burgundy foliage and lavender flowers. It enjoys full sun due to the dark coloring of the leaf. It has an upright habit and can be used as a thriller in containers.

'Burgundy Spire' stays 'fully dressed' to the bottom of its trunk - that is, the bottom leaves stay on the plant. It has an upright habit and long, narrow, deep-burgundy leaves. 'Burgundy Spire' is low maintenance and suitable in Zones 8 to 11.

'Festival Burgundy' has a wonderful dark shiny color and strap-like burgundy leaves that make it stand out in any garden planting or mixed container.

Dryopteris erythrosora ‘Compacta’ is a smaller version of the common autumn fern. ‘Compacta’ displays a strong copper color on the new growth. The compact growth habit lends itself well to container production, as well as landscape uses. This is a new introduction for 2015.

'Frostkiss Penny’s Pink' is named after the highly acclaimed garden writer Penelope Hobhouse. This variety has unique, pink-marbled foliage and deep-pink flowers on red stems that bloom from January till April.

Helleborus 'Candy Love' is part of the Winter Magic series. It is a drought tolerant shade perennial with dark cherry and cream-colored blooms. The foliage persists all summer in the shade garden.

This distinctive coral bells forms a tidy mound of glossy, incredibly ruffled leaves. It emerges fiery orange-red in spring, then turns a unique blend of coppery-orange, red and purple tones.

‘Lava Lamp’ forms a large, billowy mass of coppery-purple leaves with deep-purple undersides. The newest leaves emerge a bright copper-orange color and then deepens to a coppery purple as they age. Different from 'Cinnamon Curls,' this variety has large, flat, rounded leaves that are not deeply dissected.

Sugar Berry has berry-violet leaves with dark veins. It stays small in a pot with short flower spikes of soft pink. It grows larger if planted out and looks great in the garden, too.

Hibiscus 'Heartthrob' has glossy, near-black, pointy buds that open to dramatic deep-red blossoms with a blackish-red center and veining. Bright-yellow pollen on the red anthers in the center of each blossom pops with contrast. The 8- to 10-inch wide blossoms have rounded, overlapping petals with a hint of ruffling on the edges.

Lofos 'Wine Red' is a vigorous trailer with medium, dark-red flowers. It works well for hanging baskets and one- to five-gallon containers.

‘Crimson Fire’ boasts neon-pink flowers in the spring and has ruby-red, evergreen foliage. Its compact, low-spreading form allows it to fit in any garden space. It is great as a foundation or accent plant and makes a stunning addition to any container. Hardy in Zones 7 to 9.

'Charmed Wine' has a subtle, deep-red color and compact habit with large shamrock-like leaves and tiny, delicate white flowers. It is a great option for container planting.

'Sunburst Amethyst' has purple, tubular-shaped flowers with white throats. It blooms abundantly and requires little maintenance.

'Starlet Burgundy' is early to flower and fast to finish. It works well in small pots, baskets and combos.

Red Fox Sweetunias offer early flower power with medium-size flowers and medium, compact growth. This series boasts several fascinating varieties with special colors and is suitable for combination planters. 'Sweetunia Mystery' has cream-colored flowers with burgundy veins.

New growth on photinia 'Pink Marble' ranges from reddish pink and bronze to striking green and white. Its rounded upright habit makes it a wonderful choice for hedges.

'Desert Red's' small, blue-green leaves darken in high light. Deep, rose-pink flowers mature to shiny red seed heads.

'Shining Sensation’s' pink, funnel-shaped flowers engulf the plant in May and June, and then sporadically bloom through summer. Shiny, burgundy foliage appears as though it has been polished and contrasts nicely with the pink flowers.
