Coleus Fancy Feathers Copper (Terra Nova Nurseries)
A brand-new collection of Terra Nova Nurseries coleus varieties called the Fancy Feathers Series are now available to growers for online orders. This series, which includes Coleus ‘Black,’ Coleus ‘Copper,’ and Coleus ‘Pink,’ produces narrow, feather-like leaves and offers a mounded habit.
Coleus ‘Black’ forms a mounding tuffet of narrow feather-like, black-and-green leaves. It also generates multiple stems of blooms during the spring season. Coleus ‘Black’ is perfect for a 4-inch pot and drapes beautifully in a 10-inch hanging basket.
Coleus ‘Copper’ has copper-orange leave with a mounded habit. It also offers multiple stems of blooms during spring. Coleus ‘Copper’ grows in Zones 10 to 11 and requires shade to part shade in order to flourish.
Coleus ‘Pink’ has pink, white, and green-colored leaves and is self-branching. It is an excellent replacement for impatiens, and produces floriferous blooms during the spring season. For optimal growth, this variety should be well-drained with a moderate organic content.
