Terra Nova Nurseries Introduces Agastache Kudos Series

Terra Nova Nurseries introduces a new collection of agastache varieties called the Agastache Kudos Series. The new collection includes four new introductions now available to growers, Agastache ‘Kudos Ambrosia,’ Agastache ‘Kudos Coral,’ Agastache ‘Kudos Mandarin,’ and Agastache ‘Kudos Silver Blue.’ As a whole, the varieties in the series produce bountiful flower spikes that emerge from low, mounding foliage. They have compact habits and are hardy and disease-resistant. Terra Nova Nurseries also bred this series to have more apricot and orange tones.
Agastache ‘Kudos Ambrosia’ features creamy-coconut, pale-orange and light rose-pink spikes that have a charming, airy appearance. Its low, tight mounds perform as a filler in containers. ‘Kudos Ambrosia’ is also great for mass garden plantings.
Agastache ‘Kudos Coral’ has an impeccable habit and long-lasting color. This variety produces warm, coral-colored plumes that are dense with a sweet honey-mint scent. ‘Kudos Coral’ works well in mixed containers or borders.
Agastache ‘Kudos Mandarin’ has cheery, bright-orange plumes that bloom for months on end. It has a clean habit and is easy to grow in Zones 5 to 9. ‘Kudos Mandarin’ is a great perennial color spot for summer blooming.
Agastache ‘Kudos Silver Blue’ features soft, clear light-blue flowers that are held in plump spikes. This new introduction has exceptional winter hardiness and disease-free foliage, making it one of the most unique agastaches to date.
