Terra Nova Nurseries Introduces New Heuchera Variety

Terra Nova Nurseries’ new 2012 sneak peek variety introduction is Heuchera ‘Galaxy.’ The latest addition to the company’s heuchera Little Cutie series, this variety boasts large, thick leathery foliagethat’s heavily variegated with spots of color on a dark background.
The leaves emerge a bright red, turning darker as they age. The variegation, however, grows lighter in color and more noticeable as the season progresses.
Heuchera ‘Galaxy’ loves heat and humidity, but performs well in cool climates too. The average size includes a 12-inch width, 9-inch height and 14-inch flower height.
