Begonia ‘Spectre Silver’ has broad, maple-shaped leaves of glowing mint-green and silver-white that are accompanied by bright red-pink, long-lasting flowers, which hang on the plant casually. The vigorous, easy growing, well-branched begonia forms a 10-inch basket. This unusual and attractive perennial contains a 16-inch trailing habit, is hardy in Zones 8 to 11, and thrives in shade.

From plug to a 4-inch pot, the finish time is between four to six weeks. For a gallon-sized pot, the finish time is between eight to 10 weeks.

Begonia ‘Spectre Stardust’ is made up of fresh-green, burgundy, and violet foliage, which is stippled and spotted with cream-colored dots. The leaves are medium-to-large sized, very showy, and sometimes spiraled, and the color varies with the temperature. What makes this plant of interest in gardens and landscapes is its large, full, shrubby, and mounding habit; hardiness in Zones 9 to 11; ability to thrive in part or full shade; ability to be shipped cool; and its galaxy of colors. Stardust also serves well as an interior plant.
