The Endless Benefits Of Indoor Plants

One aspect of indoor air quality that’s received minimal attention to-date is the impact of plants on the removal of carbon dioxide, but three industry organizations have collaborated to shed some light on that benefit in a research project titled “Project” Carbon. The National Foliage Foundation (NFF) will fund the project.

Green Plants for Green Buildings (GPGB) and Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) have teamed with NFF for the project. The three organizations are hoping their research can reach a variety of sectors, including commercial foliage, plant and cut flower buyers, garden center representatives, supermarkets, chain retailers, wholesale and retail florists, interiorscape companies, buying cooperatives, brokers, landscape companies and public gardens, among others.
