This Friday, Plantpeddler in Cresco, Iowa, will host its variety day, “testing the best in the Midwest.” The trials feature more than 500 varieties from more than 20 breeders along with in-ground displays. Next week, the University of Wisconsin West Madison Agricultural Research Station and the Commercial Flower Growers of Wisconsin (CFGW) are conducting an argyranthemum and bacopa trial, in addition to the two acres of flower and vegetable trials.
