Grower friendly in its ease of maintaining a central leader, ‘Little Volunteer’ can achieve 3” caliper in 3 years from transplanted 3-5’ liners. Excellent as a street tree or for the residential landscape. Finally a tulip poplar sized for the landscape. Approximate Finishing Time for 5 Gallon: 2 years from a whip.
