Acer glabrum 'Rocky Mountain' (Maple)
Dwarf, shrubby tree native to mountain slopes, and grows along streams throughout the Rockies. Tolerant of dry, poor soils, this is an excellent xeriscape plant. Three-lobed leaves are shiny green with long red petioles. Fall color is an attractive gold.
