This hybrid of Betula platyphylla szechuanica and Betula pendula purpurea was selected for holding its striking red-purple leaf color all summer and attractive exfoliating bark that turns white with a cinnamon hue. Tolerant of moist, heavy soils. Shape: Broad, upright.
