Betula nigra 'Northern Tribute' (River Birch)
River birch have become popular landscape trees because of their resistance to injury and the bronze birch borer. Selected because of its superior adaptability to the stressful environmental conditions of the Upper Midwest and the Northern Plains - even in zone 3. Upright and oval in habit with ivory-colored bark that exfoliates to coppery-bronze. Good foliage quality with yellow autumn color.
