Celtis 'Magnifica' (Sugar Hackberry)
A hybrid of C. laevigata and C. occidentalis. Magnifica has been shown to be faster growing, more insect resistant, and has larger, glossy, dark green leaves than its parents. Corky gray bark provides winter interest. Can tolerate a wide range of environmental conditions including soil types. Resistant to witches broom.
