Viola 'Plentifall Purple Wing' (Pansy)
Supplied as primed and raw seed. The first trailing series of pansies from seed, Plentifall makes incredible cool-season baskets for early Spring and Autumn sales – this recent introduction is quickly becoming a consumer favorite! Plentifall makes a nice spreading groundcover with superior overwintering hardiness – it’s the earliest pansy to come back in the Spring – and is a great “spiller” in mixed containers. The very well-branched, prostrate and spreading plants grow vigorously, producing medium-sized blooms that hold up in rain and weather better than larger-flowered types. In mild climates, it combines well with red cyclamen or poinsettias in holiday patio planters. Plentifall has similar culture to multiflora pansies. Bloom time: Early Spring, Spring, Autumn.
