Magnolia 'Daybreak'
Dramatic blooms. Orangish-pink buds open to very large, 8"-10" white blossoms with a dark pink reverse and a hint of yellow at the fragrant heart. Flowers do not appear until May, so they are far less likely to be damaged by frost than earlier bloomers. Narrow variety of Magnolia with a sweeping, upright habit. Winner of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's Gold Medal Plant Award 2004.
