Magnolia 'Jane'
Large flowers burst in the late spring. Pinkish purple on the outside, and a bright white on the inside. The fragrant blossoms are reminiscent of tulips. Jane Magnolias grow very quickly to a mature height of 10-15 ft. One of the “Girl Magnolias" from the U.S. National Arboretum. Selected to bloom two to four weeks later than M. stellata and M. x soulangiana, reducing the possibility of late spring frost damage.
