Magnolia (Saucer Magnolia)
A hybrid of Magnolia heptapeta x Magnolia quinquepeta. In early spring this popular Magnolia produces an abundance of 5-10 inch flowers, flushed pink-purple on the outside and white inside. Its upright shape as a young plant develops into a multi-stemmed, low branched small tree that is an attractive specimen. Never or rarely fed on by Japanese beetles.
