Malus 'Anne E' (Crabapple)
Elegant, wide spreading, weeping form with cardinal red buds that open to white blossoms with crimson margins. Cupped, glossy green leaves turn a handsome yellow in autumn and contrast nicely with the bright red fruits. Attractive to wildlife. Highly resistant to scab. Tolerant of a wide range of soils as long as they are well drained. Selected by Mike Lee, of Bailey Nurseries.
