Veronica 'Hocus Pocus' (Speedwell, Spike Speedwell, Creeping Speedwell)
This brand new cultivar has a pleasing uniform habit. Taller than Royal Candles, it forms an attractive clump of clean, green foliage, from which very long, showy flower spikes arise. Blooming in early to midsummer with a violet purple color, it looks just as great in a container as it does in the garden bed. Bred at Walters Gardens and now part of the Proven Winners perennial program.
