Outstanding tree in the landscape featuring emerald-green, semi-glossy, leathery foliage with reddish coloration in autumn. Quite dense, pyramidal form. Hybrid oak of Q. robur (English oak) and Q. alba (white oak). Introduced in collaboration North Dakota State University and North Central Regional Plant Introduction Station, Iowa State University, Ames, IA.
