Stachys 'Hummelo' (Betony, Lamb's Ears)
Hummelo
Share:

Most gardeners are familiar with the silver foliaged lamb's ears. There are also a number of Stachys species with green foliage that are wonderful plants in the perennial garden. This variety of Stachys monnieri produces spikes of rosy-pink flowers that grow to 20" in height by midsummer. These flowers arise from a mound of basal foliage that is slightly glossy and dark green in color. Plant in full sun and well-drained soils.
