Sassafras (Common Sassafras)
(Common Sassafras)
Share:

Traditionally not an easy tree to transplant due to its deep taproot. We are now growing this native tree in small containers for better transplanting success. Fast growing, forming an upright oval shape, the green, mitten-shaped foliage has outstanding autumn colors in shades from yellow to deep orange, scarlet and even purple.
