One of the best evergreens for hot, poor, dry soil and city conditions. A vigorous ground cover with few faults. Foliage is a smoky blue-gray and holds its color well in winter. Generally produces an abundance of silvery berries, often used for winter decorations. May be pruned or sheared to shape. Easily transplanted.
