This unique coneflower is a tall, narrowly upright background plant that blooms late summer into autumn with brilliant yellow flowers that are 2" in width and have completely quilled petals with a brown button center. Native to the U.S., this plant was discovered in a wild population in Illinois. Best grown in well drained soils.
