Platycodon 'Astra Semi-Double Blue' (Ballon flower, Japanese bellflower)
Semi-double, periwinkle blue blossoms cover this compact, densely branched cultivar. Balloon-like buds pop open to reveal 3" blooms with particularly thick flower petals, beginning mid-summer lasting until fall. With their petite size and abundant blooms, these are great for mixed baskets or the front of the garden border in full sun to partial shade locations.
