Ulmus 'Vanguard' (Elm)
Hybrid of Japanese and Siberian elm closely resembles Japanese elm. Selected for its excellent Dutch elm disease resistance, glossy deep green foliage and resistance to elm leaf beetle damage. Will tolerate drought prone areas of the Midwest and Great Plains. Selected and introduced by Morton Arboretum.
