Miscanthus 'Zebrinus' (Maiden Grass, Porcupine Grass, Japanese Silver Grass, Zebra Grass)
Forming a very wide, arching clump, Zebrinus is distinguished by showy cream colored horizontal bands along the leaves. In climates where there is a long, hot growing season, it produces a lovely flower in autumn. Flowers are a pinkish copper plume which mature to fluffy tan seed heads, standing out in the winter landscape.
