Miscanthus 'Strictus' (Maiden Grass, Porcupine Grass, Japanese Silver Grass, Zebra Grass)
Rigid and upright in habit, Strictus has striking cream colored horizontal bands on green foliage. Strictus produces a flower plume in climates where there is a long, hot growing season. Flowers appear in autumn, and are a pinkish copper plume that matures to reddish tan for winter.
