Filipendula 'Venusta' (Meadowsweet, Dropwort, Queen-of-the-Prairie)
A large, upright perennial for the back of the border. Large panicles of deep pink flowers on erect flower stems rise above the foliage, a mound of pinnately divided leaflets, in mid to late summer. Reaches a height of 4-6' and spread of 3-4' so give it room. Very showy.
