Buddleia 'Black Knight' (Butterfly Bush)
Striking dark purple flowers from July through September. Vigorous multi-stem plant for the perennial border. Good cut flower, attractive to butterflies. Easy to grow and loves full sun. This succulent cane shrub flowers on new growth and therefore is best pruned to the ground in the spring. Will die back in Zone 5, but will regrow strongly from the roots.
