Edible and ornamental, 'Sunshine Blue' has many excellent qualities to recommend it. Dense, rounded form, semi-dwarf habit, makes it a great choice for containers. Each spring, masses of pink flowers backed by silvery green foliage adorn the branches. Produces abundant, sweet and juicy dark blue berries. Gorgeous purple-red fall color. More tolerant than most blueberries of high pH but does prefer slightly acidic, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. (Zone 5-10)
