Introduced in 1996. A very aromatic, firm berry with excellent flavor. Fruit will store up to 6-8 weeks. Fruit is slightly smaller than 'Northblue' with yields of 80-90% of it. Height 3-4'. 'Polaris' must be pollinated by another blueberry cultivar. MNRC (Zone 3-7) Shown to be a reliable choice for home use in zone 3, but will produce larger yields in higher zones.
