Syringa (Cutleaf Lilac) (Reblooming Lilac)
(Cutleaf Lilac)
Share:

Similar in many ways to Syringa x persica, Cutleaf Lilac distinguishes itself with lacy, small, lobed foliage that is truly elegant. Nicely resistant to mildew and quite tolerant of heat, it blooms in spring with 3" pale lavender flower panicles all along the stems. Best in full sun to light shade, use it as a single graceful specimen or as a beautiful informal hedge in the landscape.
