Prunus 'Shubert Select' (Common Cherrylaurel)
Red leaf variety of native American chokeberry. Selected at Bailey Nurseries for its vigorous, uniform growth habit. Red fruits 1/3" in mid summer are favored by wildlife. Extremely hardy. Proper soil conditions are necessary for normal growth with this variety, pay special attention to good drainage and aeration.
