Prunus (Beach Plum) (Common Cherrylaurel)
A round, dense shrub found normally on the East Coast along the shore. Has delicious fruit .5"-1" across that are dull purple in color and ripen in August. Fruits may be used for jams and jellies. Flowers are white, single or double and bloom in early May. Salt tolerant.
