Cotinus 'Nordine'
Originated at the Morton Arboretum, Lisle, Illinois. Flowers are showy in large, ruby-red, plumose clusters in midsummer. Hardiest of the purple-leaf smokebushes, but dies back to the crown after a severe winter. Xeriscape plant.
