Cytisus purgans 'Spanish Gold'
This tight, dense broom was selected from the Rock Alpine Garden at the Denver Botanic Gardens, from seed collected in the Pyrenees Mountains. One of the hardiest brooms available, this species produces bright yellow flowers in late May through early June, and will perform best in full sun to part shade.
