Euonymus bungeana 'Prairie Radiance'
A selection from NDSU selected for its superior winter hardiness and excellent fruit display. Prairie Radiance® has something for every season, producing a large quantity of delicate pink capsules which begin in mid-August. In mid to late September the capsules split open, exposing bright red arils. After leaves drop, the gray-barked twigs set off sequential color changes of the fruit, a beautiful sight over an extended period.
