Bright yellow flowers of this forsythia appear on slender pedicels borne on widely arching branches. Blooming in late March or early April, it does best in rich, medium, moist loam, and sun or light shade. It is an excellent choice for bank covers. Rarely to never fed on by Japanese beetles.
