Silene ‘Carol Jean’ (Green Fuse Botanicals)
This all-new summer blooming ground cover boasts clean white or intense pink flowers. ‘Carol Jean’ will come into bloom as phlox subulate goes out of bloom. This means customers are in stores when it is naturally in color. Its heat and humidity performance will have consumers loving it all summer long.
With glowing light-pink flowers, ‘Cheryl’s Shine’ radiates color in the late winter-early spring, a time of year that can still be a little dreary. Another sister seedling to ‘Anna’s Red’ and ‘Penny’s Pink,’ ‘Cheryl’s Shine’ sports the same marbled foliage with a similar growth habit and bloom time (January-April). Hardy in USDA Zones 5 to 8.
