Shop Talk: Allan Armitage on New Varieties From Proven Winners, Suntory Flowers, and Dümmen Orange

If 2020 were like any other year, the Greenhouse Grower team of Janeen Wright and Allan Armitage would still be sifting through their pages of notes and thousands of photos snapped at California Spring Trials (CAST).

While there was no in-person CAST event this year, that hasn’t stopped plant breeders and marketers from launching new varieties, albeit in new ways, that they hope will be big winners at retail next year.

Allan and Janeen recently took a closer look at some of these new varieties from Proven Winners, Suntory Flowers, and Dümmen Orange. Check out the video below for their favorites.
