Pests and Diseases
Pests should not be an issue if growers follow standard sanitation practices. Monitor for aphids, mealybugs, spider mites and root and crown rot.
Successful pest management and prevention includes an integrated preventative program that includes managing humidity levels and maintaining good air circulation. A monthly broad spectrum fungicide rotation will also help protect foliage.
Provide 12 or more hours photoperiod.
Hush Puppy generally does not require plant growth regulators or pinching.
