Tragedy Strikes Dallas Johnson

On Friday, Feb. 16, tragedy struck Dallas Johnson Greenhouses when at approximately 9:30 p.m. the corporate Cessna Twin Turbo airplane crashed four miles east of the Council Bluffs Airport. Although the cause of the accident is yet to be determined, the weather conditions likely played a role as the winds were gusting to more than 50 miles per hour with blowing snow.

All four passengers perished including daughter Shawn Sorenson-Peters, Dale Peckham (Sales Manager), April Meyers (Head Grower) and Steve Revord (Pilot).
