Number/kind of entries: 137, mostly from seed, many in full sun, some in shade, a few in Smart Pots.

Weather conditions during the trials: Variable spring and hot summer, with temperatures up to about 114°F. Fortunately, the night lows were below 80°F

Best in show: Begonia ‘Whopper Rose w/ Green Foliage’ (trialed in shade)
