As a way of supporting the locally grown movement, summit attendees will tour AAS Trials and display gardens as well as local businesses, while having the chance to meet and hear from leaders of Wisconsin’s local community.

According to AAS, the state of Wisconsin is ranked sixth out of 51 states and provinces as most committed to the locavore movement. TakeApart.com also ranked Wisconsin eighth in states where it’s easy to eat locally based on the number of farmers markets, CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture), and food hubs.

The Holiday Inn and Suites on the west side of Madison will serve as the host hotel for the event. For more information, contact Diane Blazek.
